Rajiv believes Franklin Township needs experienced strong fiscal leadership in these tough economic times. It is for this reason he wishes to serve to see Franklin through these difficult days and to realize its full potential to be the best place to live in America, with the finest quality of life. A lot still needs to be done to provide adequate recreation for our youth and residents. Improve and redevelop the township to improve the quality of housing, especially for lower income residents. There have been great strides made, but a lot more still needs to be done.
Most importantly, Rajiv’s vision of Franklin is to make it as child safe and friendly as possible while still keeping a village mentality, to make sure all the adults are involved in their upbringing. Youth Community Drop in Centers are just the start. Youth counseling and after school activities, to produce well rounded adults.

Hired business and industry consultants able to bring in new ratables to
- share in the residential taxpayers’ burden
- provide local employment and demand for services in town
- support area businesses
Marketing of Franklin’s Convention and Meeting Facilities to bring additional occupancy to its hotels and hospitality industry.
Explore and develop greater recreational and commercial use of the D & R Canal and the Raritan River waterfront.
